Next Year Will Be Here Before You Know ItBy Tim Hodson

Last Wednesday night, my beloved Chicago Cubs were eliminated from going to the World Series – again!

The season ended for me and 42,226 other baseball fans at Wrigley Field standing, yelling and praying for a miracle that didn’t happen.

While it was disheartening to get swept by the New York Mets in four games, this was a great season. The Cubs really exceeded all of the experts’ predictions and expectations by winning more than 100 ballgames this year.

The team had almost the right balance of youth and experience to get the job done and make it to the World Series. There will be a little line-up tinkering done during the off-season and then bring on 2016.

It was really fun and exciting to watch this year’s team grow as the season went on and has us die-hard fans once again saying, “Just wait until next year!”

Now that the 2015 growing season is coming to a conclusion, what are you already looking forward to next year? What crops really performed for you this year that you just can’t wait until 2016 to grow again? What new varieties have you “drafted” for the 2016 season?

Drop me a line at [email protected] and let me know who your rookie of the year was in 2015 and who your future all stars and seasoned veterans are going to be in 2016.

Don’t Forget
