Chemtura Enters Marketing Partnership With OHP

Chemtura Corporation announced last week it has entered into a marketing partnership agreement for its greenhouse and nursery products line with OHP, Inc. Effective July 2, 2007, Chemtura will partner with OHP in an agreement whereby OHP will market, sell and provide customer and technical service support for products in the current Chemtura line.

Chemtura will continue to manufacture and register the products while marketing, distribution, sales and support will be handled by OHP. As existing inventories of finished goods are depleted, product packaging will be converted to OHP design formats while continuing to use existing and established brand names.

Hurricane Fungicide Receives California Registration

Syngenta has announced that Hurricane fungicide is now registered for commercial use in greenhouses and nurseries in California. Hurricane aims to control Pythium, Phytophthora and Rhizoctonia and may be applied year round on most ornamental greenhouse and nursery crops, including azalea, begonia, chrysanthemum, marigold, pansy, poinsettia, verbena, vinca and zinnia.
