New Enhancements for SBI’s Handheld Inventory Control Application
The SBI Handheld Inventory Control application is undergoing major enhancements for order fulfillment. This application will be used for pulling orders in the field, at the dock while assembling orders, or as inventory is loaded into trucks.
The key benefit of this enhancement is that it eliminates the need for an employee to take pick tickets back to the office to update the order for what really got shipped or where it really got pulled from. Once the user is done loading the order, all shipping paperwork is ready to be printed. The team at SBI worked with eight different customers to design and test the solution in real world scenarios.
SBI Handheld Order Pulling aims to not only increase profits and productivity but to also improve consistency of shipments and customer billing, which ultimately lead to better customer satisfaction.
This new SBI handheld application will be available in December 2008. For more information please contact SBI at (503) 248-2159 or visit www.sbinursery.com.
