‘Joey’ Receives FloraHolland’s Glass TulipSource: Benary

Benary's ptilotus exaltatus 'Joey' recently received FloraHolland's Glass Tulip award in the bedding plants category.

Every year in Europe, the best flower varieties contend for FloriHolland’s Glass Tulip award.

This year, ptilotus exaltatus ‘Joey’, from the German seed breeder Benary, was the Glass Tulip award recipient in the bedding plants category.

C. & M. Kester, an innovative dutch grower, presented ‘Joey’ to the jury as an avant-garde bedding plant for the end consumer.

Ptilotus exaltatus ‘Joey’ is native to central Australia. It is extremely tolerant of heat and drought and adapts well to other conditions.
