Monrovia Growers Named Vendor of the YearSource: Armstrong Garden Centers

In a time of heightened competition, vendors that can help garden centers stand out from the competition deserve some accolades. With this idea in mind, Monrovia Growers was named the first ever Vendor of the Year by Armstrong Garden Centers, according to a company press release. According to Armstrong CEO Mike Kunce, this new award was started to recognize vendors that provide the high-quality products that help differentiate Armstrong Garden Centers from other garden retailers.

Monrovia earned this honor for the launch of its Monrovia Boutique retail concept. The signature store display was rolled out last March in various sizes and formats to all 36 Armstrong stores throughout California.

The boutique, filled with Monrovia plants, draws attention with colorful banners, posters and garden art, while tastefully incorporating the Monrovia brand with an extensive plant material and outdoor living products.

“Monrovia’s ongoing dedication and support of the program allowed gardeners of all skill levels to find beautiful plant combinations and be inspired to create their own outdoor living space,” Kunce said.
