Pest Management Dates And Location Set
Society of American Florists has chosen Feb. 16-18, 2006, for its Pest Management Conference. The conference, which will be held at the Norwalk Marriott, Norwalk, Calif., provides growers with proven techniques to help fight insects and disease. The conference features many experts in the industry. Just a few slated for the 2006 conference include : Jim Bethke, Ann Chase, Margery Daughtrey, Mary Hausbeck, John Kabashima, Ron Oetting and Steve Tjosvold.
The event begins with an optional growing operations tour of greenhouses around the area. The conference features a tabletop trade show of the latest Integrated Pest Management (IPM) products and technical information on disease and insect management tools.
