University of Florida Selects Summer Trials Award WinnersSource: University of Florida

The fairest – and hardiest – of them all have been chosen. The University of Florida trial garden recently selected its 2007 summer award winners, based on their excellent heat and humidity tolerance from June through August.

This year, more than 650 cultivars were evaluated, including 243 new introductions. The summer award winners were selected in two categories, flowering and non-flowering. A complete report of the cultivars’ performance will be available soon at
