Nemesia

New for 2010 and bred by Westhoff, the Nemesis series of early-flowering nemesia is available in a wide range of attractive, vibrant colors, including Compact Yellow and Cherry. They feature a mounding habit with lots of scented flowers. These varieties are suitable for 4- to 6-inch pots, gallon containers and hanging baskets. Nemesis nemesia prefer full sun to partial shade. Keep temperatures at 58-65° F days and nights. Maintain pH levels at 5.3-5.7. Feed with 20-10-20 at 100- to 150-ppm plus iron. Maintain EC level at 0.6-0.9.
Rooting should take place in five weeks. Pinch once after transplant. Plant growth regulators are not usually needed unless grown under low light levels.
