Polygonum capitatum is a perennial groundcover that requires little maintenance and is very drought tolerant. Hardy to Zones 7 through 11, it produces ball-shaped flowers all spring, summer and fall, making it ideal for the landscape or for basket production. This variety is easy to root and is a fast grower reaching 6-8 inches tall and 18 inches wide. They grow best in full sun or part shade.
