In case you missed our webinar last week on “Common Mistakes Using Plant Growth Regulators and How to Prevents Them,” you can now view the one-hour webinar and download Roger Styer’s presentation — for free on the GPN website!

Last Tuesday afternoon, industry consultant Roger Styer discussed many of the different challenges that growers may face when it comes to working with PGRs.

During the webinar, Styer addressed some of the different environmental and cultural issues that growers need to be aware of when dealing with plant growth regulators. He also discussed application methods and timing issues for applying PGRs to plugs, liners and finished products.

You can find the presentation on the GPN webinar page on our website (www.gpnmag.com). Just click on “Resources” in the upper right hand corner.

On that same web page, you also will find all five of the webinars that we have presented in 2016 and 2017.

In the past couple of months, in addition to Styer’s PGR webinar, Neil Mattson at Cornell University presented a webinar on controlled environment agriculture and Roger Styer discussed managing diseases in the greenhouse.

In 2016, our Plant Health Management Webinar series included two presentations — one on integrated pest management from Raymond Cloyd at Kansas State University and Roger Styer’s first PGR webinar, which was kind of a precursor to last Tuesday’s presentation.

You can view all of these webinars and download the different presentations — for free — by clicking here.

All of these webinars are designed to help you and your teams with additional education from some of our industry’s leading experts. Our goal is to provide you with the critical information you need to successfully (and profitably) grow healthy plants.

We will begin planning our 2018 webinars in the coming weeks. What kinds of topics would you like to see us address in the new year?
