Cultivate’18 will convene in Columbus, Ohio, this weekend. Are you ready for it?

More than 10,000 horticulture industry professionals are expected to converge on Ohio’s capital city for four days of networking, education and fun.

This year’s Solutions Marketplace trade show will feature more than 700 exhibitors showing off the industry’s latest varieties, as well as new products and services. There is so much to see and do so in a limited amount of time, so get ready to cover some ground!

Cultivate has something for everyone, but here are a couple of things you might want to circle on your calendar.

On Saturday, Abby Kleckler, managing editor of Lawn & Garden Retailer, will be participating in a Retail Peer2Peer Workshop.

During this half-day peer-to-peer workshop, Abby — along with top retailers from around the U.S. and Canada — will share their inspiration, plans, hurdles, and how they pulled off their most successful events. If you have a retail operation, you won’t want to miss this workshop.

On Monday, July 16, I will be hosting a Mix ‘n Mingle session with GPN’s 40 Under 40 at 10:30 a.m. in the AmericanHort member booth on the show floor of the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

This one-hour session is your opportunity to meet many of the members of the Class of 2018 of GPN’s 40 Under 40. It will provide you with a glimpse of our industry’s future leaders — today!
