During His Downtime: Qendrim likes to write (his first book will be published soon), go for walks with his wife and play soccer. “I have been playing since I was a small boy and if I didn’t become a horticulturist I would probably have ended up being a soccer player.”

Favorite Flick: “The Great Debaters.” “It is very moving, inspiring and informative. It shows us a part of history that we must not forget and it also teaches us that only through education we will free our minds and our bodies as well.”
