• Develops practical solutions that improve company’s overall productivity and enhance product quality. Also is a frequent presenter in garden center’s educational program on a wide range of subjects.

• While attending Southeastern Louisiana University, was the recipient of the prestigious Ira Nelson scholarship from the Louisiana Nursery and Landscape Association.

Rick likes to be creative and do artistic projects, “anything that involves working with my hands. I enjoy spending time designing landscape projects and working in the garden and flower beds at home.”

Rick’s two favorite books are “Can’t Hurt Me” by David Goggins and “The Culture Code” by Daniel Coyle. “Both books can motivate and humble you at the same time.”
