• Responsible for conducting long form experiments and recording the resulting data to choose best practices to implement at native plant nursery.
• Supervises the production of tens of thousands of seed-grown Eastern U.S. native azaleas with an eye on continual improvement of company’s standard operating procedures coupled with aspects of a lean operation.

Why Did the Salamander Cross the Road? Every year near the end of April, Alisha and her family go to New York to help yellow spotted salamanders cross roads and trails on their way to spawning pools.
