Julie is a recognized expert in advising growers in the use and application of entomopathogenic nematodes for larval and adult insect pest control in greenhouse production.
In 2021, she had the opportunity to speak at Cultivate and earlier this year was a presenter at the Biocontrol USA conference.

Sew, Sew: In her spare time, Julie loves to sew. “It’s both a therapeutic and creative outlet for me.”

Fun Facts

Simply Getaway: Last year, Julie and her husband purchased a 60-acre nature reserve in northeastern Iowa. It has a small cabin/garage affectionately named “The Cabbage.” It has power but no running water. The property is in the Conservation Restoration Program and Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation. “It’s nice to get away and live simply.”
