2021 Ohio Land Grant Hemp Conference To Be Held Virtually

Hemp production in Ohio continues to rise and with it, new information emerges. Join the 2021 Ohio Land Grant Hemp Conference: Looking Back to Plan for the Future, brought to you by OSU Extension and Central State University.

This two-day conference will cover a wide range of topics related to the hemp industry. On March 5, join OSU as industry leaders share insights on the fiber industy, pest management, economics and more. On March 6, CSU will be hosting a virtual trade show that will highlight hemp processors, seed and clone companies, equipment, irrigation and more.

Speakers and topics will include:

  • Updating Research on Growing Hemp: Craig Schluttenhofer, Central State University
  • Research in Growing CBD Hemp: James Morris and Brad Bergefurd, Ohio State University Extension
  • Research in Growing Fiber Hemp: Chris Zoller and Lee Beers, Ohio State University Extension
  • Economics of Growing Hemp: Tyler Mark, University of Kentucky
  • Pest Management in Hemp Crops: Margurite Bolt, Purdue University
  • Hemp Licensing in Ohio: Jim Belt, Ohio Department of Agriculture
