American Agri-Women application approaches for Leadership Program
American Agri-Women (AAW) has opened applications for its Road to Influence program, a leadership initiative aimed at empowering women in agriculture. The program equips participants with skills to influence policy, advocate for the industry and take on leadership roles within their communities.
The Road to Influence curriculum covers six key areas, including communication, collaboration, and persuasion. Participants will engage in a mix of in-person meetings, virtual sessions, and hands-on projects to enhance their leadership abilities.
“The Road to Influence program is about more than just leadership development—it’s about creating a community of empowered women who are ready to make a lasting impact in agriculture,” said Heather Hampton+Knodle, past president of AAW and a key developer of the program.
Who should apply: The Road to Influence program is ideal for women involved in any aspect of agriculture, whether they are farmers, ranchers, agribusiness professionals or advocates for the industry. Applicants should be passionate about agriculture and committed to advancing their leadership skills to drive positive change.
How to apply: Applications are being accepted until Sept. 15, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting americanagriwomen.org/
