Armitage App Adds IGCs
Dr. Allan Armitage recently introduced a new app for home gardeners, as well as horticulture industry professionals, called Armitages Greatest Perennials & Annuals. It is available for all Android and iPhones and tablets.
Dr. Armitage is an internationally known plant expert, author and speaker who recently retired from the University of Georgia
In the app Dr. Armitage suggests the best variety for hundreds of plants, and backs up his recommendations with years of personal experience, excellent videos and stunning photos.
The app can be purchased for $4.99 by visiting the App Store and searching for “armitage”.
Dr. Armitage is now adding a new section on garden centers to the app to provide consumers with the possible places to shop for plants and hard goods. It willallow those garden centers who wish to be listed to have photos, descriptive paragraph, address and links to where the reader could be sent.
There is no cost for garden centers to be added instead, Dr. Armitage asks that the IGCs promise to promote the app to their customers in their stores or on their e-blasts, blogs, etc.
