Delray Plants Mourns Passing of its Founder

Jacob Koornneef, founder of Delray Plants Co, died peacefully on March 21 at his home in Lake Placid, Fla. Koornneef founded Delray Plants on 14 acres in Delray Beach in 1968; since then, the company has grown to four locations in Florida and two sites in Costa Rica, making it one of the largest indoor foliage production and shipping facilities in the United States.
