Bayer Offering Special Pricing on Two Herbicides

The Turf and Ornamentals business of Bayer, part of the Environmental Science unit, is offering special pricing on Marengo herbicide and Marengo G herbicide this spring.

Until April 30, 2021, customers can earn up to 6% in savings on purchases of Marengo herbicide and Marengo G herbicide. These preemergence herbicides provide up to eight months of control over difficult weeds.

Growers purchasing at least four bottles of Marengo herbicide and 40 bags of Marengo G herbicide will earn additional savings:

  • 2% savings on purchases of four to 11 bottles of Marengo herbicide
  • 4% savings on purchases of 12-19 bottles of Marengo herbicide
  • 6% savings on purchases of 20 or more bottles of Marengo herbicide
  • 2% savings on purchases of 40-159 bags of Marengo G herbicide
  • 4% savings on purchases of 160-399 bags of Marengo G herbicide
  • 6% savings on purchases of 400 or more bags of Marengo G herbicide

Marengo herbicide and Marengo G herbicide provide up to eight months of control over difficult weeds such as eclipta, bittercress, groundsel, oxalis, marestail, spurge, crabgrass and annual bluegrass. They also reduce labor and eliminate the need for repeat applications.

Marengo herbicide and Marengo G herbicide both include the option for spring or fall applications, and are labeled for use on more than 260 tolerant plants each.

“At Bayer, providing our customers with high-quality, cost-effective weed management options is a top priority,” said Peter Farno, national sales manager for the ornamentals segment.

Growers should contact their Bayer representative before April 30 for this special pricing on Marengo herbicide and Marengo G herbicide. They can also visit es.bayer.us/marengo-calculator to compare the cost-in-use of Marengo herbicide and Marengo G herbicide to their current herbicide program and to find a Bayer representative.
