Cultivate’18 Session to Address pH and EC

If you are looking for ways to monitor plant nutrition to grow healthier and more profitable plants, then you should check out the educational session, “Keeping Your pH and EC on Track,” that is being offered at Cultivate’18 next month in Columbus, Ohio.

The course speakers will be Owen, Garrett Owen, Eastern Michigan Greenhouse Outreach Specialist at Michigan State University, and Brian Whipker, Floriculture Extension and Research professor at North Carolina State University.

The session will examine the fundamentals for growing plants — fertilizer, substrates and water. The presenters will discuss  how in-house nutrient monitoring can provide growers with key pH and EC values needed for successful crop production.

In this session, Owen and Whipker also will be presenting new website tools, an overview of the PourThru method for monitoring substrate pH and EC and a highlight of ta free app that allows growers to monitor and plot the nutritional trends over time.

Owen and Whipker’s one-hour session will take place Sunday, July 15, at 2:45 EDT in Room A115 of the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
