Dramm adds protective bumper to rain wands, improved hose reel and guide

Dramm has introduced a new protective bumper for its retail line of 400PL Water Breaker Nozzle Rain Wands, with the updated products scheduled to be available for home gardeners in spring 2027.

The reinforced bumper is designed to provide additional protection for the nozzle by helping absorb impact and distribute force from routine drops and dragging during use. According to Dramm, the addition is intended to improve durability and extend the product’s service life.

The protective bumper has been used on the company’s greenhouse products and is now being added to the retail line for home gardeners. The updated Rain Wands will be showcased at industry buying shows this fall before their retail launch.

Also showcased at Cultivate’26 is the upgraded hose reel with a swivel arm for better movement and storage in the greenhouse. And, a heavy-duty hose guide that secures into the concrete floor of the greenhouse and prevents the hose from getting pulled over potted plants or other equipment while watering.
