Eason Horticultural Introduces New Calibrachoa Hi-Graft Standards

Eason Horticultural Resources (EHR) has introduced the Calibrachoa Hi-Graft Standard. These new decorative forms of calibrachoa feature an 8-12” stem with a ball of ever-blooming calibrachoa on top.

They are available in four distinct colors, and growers can have them ready to go in time for Mother’s Day of 2018.

Created by Hishtil Nursery in Israel, these introductions are the newest in the line of Fun-Ta-Sticks, a decorative line of Hi-Graft Standards that currently include a basil and some ornamental peppers.

The Calibrachoa Hi-Graft Standards were originally introduced during California Spring Trials in 2017, and the EHR team was immediately interested and intrigued by them.

Several different growers trialed them this year, and found them to be easy to grow and care for. Best of all, retail customers that saw the finished products loved them.

Three different young plant producers will be offering the Calibrachoa Hi-Graft Standards as rooted liners. They can be shipped weeks 8, 9 or 10, perfect timing to finish in 4” or 6” pots for Mother’s Day.
