EHR Continues to Expand Sales and Support Staff

Eason Horticultural Resources has announced the addition of four new sales representatives, and one additional member to its sales support team.

Don Blocker, Don Gamsjager, Keith Irlbacher and Steve Stier have been added to to the national sales team.

As a Kentucky native, Don Blocker has spent most of his career in horticultural sales in Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana. With a bachelor’s degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Eastern Kentucky University, Don has held various positions in the green industry over the last 30 years. Before transitioning to EHR, he worked as a field sales representative with McHutchison.

Don Gamsjager joins EHR as a sales representative in Connecticut, Western Massachusetts, and the New York metro area including Northern New Jersey, Long Island and Westchester County. His focus will be on servicing retail garden centers, re-wholesalers and landscape contractors in the areas he serves.  Don most recently worked as a sales rep for McHutchison and prior to that managed a retail garden center on Long Island, NY. Don is a graduate of SUNY Delhi and the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in Ornamental Horticulture.

Keith Irlbacher joins EHR as a sales representative in Western Pennsylvania and Northeastern Ohio. After graduating from Penn State, Keith spent the better part of 25 years servicing growers, re-wholesalers, garden centers and landscape contractors. He provides growers with planting recommendations and material to finish, provides re-wholesalers and garden centers with product that is in demand, and helps landscape contractors meet their project needs and deadlines.

Since 1990, Steve Stier has been a professional plantsman, working at various growers, re-wholesalers and brokerage firms. He’s spent the past 26 years with McHutchison, providing his expertise and knowledge, to his great group of customers in the Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska areas. Horticulture runs in Steve’s blood. He is energized by the intersection of spotting new plant trends and finding innovative ways to mix them with long-standing, consumer favorites.

EHR welcomes industry veteran Linda Ferrari to its customer service team, with a strong background in supporting garden centers, re-wholesalers and landscape contractors in North America. She has spent the past 24 years building relationships in the horticultural industry with Garden Resource Group and McHutchison and will build upon her success with EHR. Linda will focus on delivering excellence to EHR’s customers while maintaining and building relationships with vendors and sales reps alike.
