Farwest Hands Out Booth Awards

The 2019 Farwest Show recently announced recipients of its booth awards. Judges walked the floor to find the best of the best, recognizing several winners with the Ted Van Veen Best in Show booth awards.

”We pride the Farwest Show on being far from ordinary, and that plays out in all aspects of the show, from seminar lineup to the breadth of plant material and products and services, to the booth designs,” said Allan Niemi, show director. “The Farwest Show is a true showcase for Oregon’s nursery industry, which is the largest sector in Oregon agriculture with nearly $1 billion in annual sales.”

Best in Show award winner Little Prince of Oregon Nursery

Winning the overall Best in Show award was Little Prince of Oregon Nursery for its festive, holiday-themed booth, complete with (simulated) fireplace. The booth also collected an award for best 10×10 grower booth.

Other Best of Division award winners included the following:

  • Best 10×20 or Larger Row Booth – Youngblood Nursery
  • Best Island Booth – Alpha Nursery
