The Suntory Collection is launching a comprehensive consumer advertising campaign this spring. In the first six months of 2013, the company expects to generate nearly 122 million impressions with high profile home and garden media partners.

In Better Homes & Gardens, Suntory will support its print advertorial in the April issue with a three-month, interactive digital package March through May on BHG.com. This includes sponsored content and videos, digital advertising and eNewsletters sent directly to BHG readers.

In addition to the print advertorial that will run in the March issue of Southern Living, there will be a three-month digital package on SouthernLiving.com that includes being the Essential Plant Guide sponsor, run-of-site and garden channel digital ads and eNewsletter sponsorship.

Suntory also plans to support its print advertorial in the March issue of Sunset magazine with a three-month digital package on the publication’s website that includes sponsoring the Plant Finder, social media integration, eNewsletter sponsorships, as well as digital ads.

In addition to advertising in the March/April and May/June issues of Fine Gardening magazine, online Suntory will sponsor the New Plant Showcase and custom eNewsletters. The winner of Fine Gardening’s Container Challenge for the best combination planting will win Sun Parasol mandevillas.

Suntory also will be advertising in Country Gardens, the quarterly sister publication to Better Homes & Gardens. Suntory will advertise on the back cover of the early spring, spring and summer editions, beginning with Senetti in January.

On Garden SMART TV, Suntory will be a major sponsor alongside companies like Subaru for this weekly gardening television on PBS. The company also will be providing content for the show and monthly eNewsletter and website.

For the second year in a row, Suntory also will have a presence at the Philadelphia International Flower Show. In addition to featuring Senetti in the America in Bloom exhibit again, the company will present Surfinia Summer Double petunias in the New Plant Showcase. Suntory’s local grower partner for the exhibition is Peace Tree Farm. The show is promoted to more than 1,000 media outlets, lasts nine days and 265,000 people came through last year.

The company reports strong cuttings sales so far this season and is looking forward to generating more sales for growers and retailers in 2013.
