The Hemp Mine, Alterra Establish New Partnership

The Hemp Mine, a hemp genetics provider, is entering into a genetics distribution agreement with Fort Collins, Colorado-based Alterra, a hemp young plant supplier. The Hemp Mine’s line of trusted and trialed genetics will be the exclusive vegetative hemp material offered by Alterra for 2021.

“Alterra is excited to announce that it is offering its customers genetics that have been developed by The Hemp Mine to excel in even the most challenging environments,” said Alterra Co-Founder Victoria Wylde. “By collaborating with The Hemp Mine, Alterra can provide growers with vigorous CBD and CBG hemp clones that are fully rooted, hardened, and sorted to maximize success in the field. Before and after delivery, Alterra’s experienced team cares about the success of growers, and is always available to offer trusted guidance.”

Alterra and The Hemp Mine share similar values when it comes to customer success, account ownership and genetic selection based on extensive regional trialing. The Hemp Mine collaborates with breeding companies, universities, vendors and farmers to properly execute validated field trials throughout the U.S. National data collection and performance evaluation allows growers to have the proper tools to forecast, cultivate, and bring value to their hemp production.

“We are excited to add Alterra to our trusted lineup of hemp distributors. Alterra and The Hemp Mine have a similar philosophy in a science based and farmer first approach. We feel this partnership strengthens our reach to customers across the US,” said Allison Justice, PhD., The Hemp Mine’s founder & CEO.
