UF Offers Online Costing & Profitability Course
In September, the University of Florida will offer an online course on Costing & Profitability.
This will be the fourth course from of its 2019 Greenhouse Training Online program.
Participants in the course will have an opportunity to develop the skills to accurately estimate production cost and profit for their greenhouse business.
This course is advanced level and it is designed for experienced, well-trained growers, or people with upper university education.
The course is offered in English and Spanish, with instructors Paul Fisher, Alan Hodges, Kevin Athearn and Rosanna Freyre at UF, Charlie Hall from Texas A&M University, and Bill Swanekamp from Kube-Pak Corp.
The course runs Sept. 2 -30, 2019 and includes a personalized certificate of completion.
The cost is $499 per participant, with discounts if you register five or more people.
During the four-week course, there are streaming video lessons, readings and assignments (about 3-4 hours total commitment per week), which can be accessed at any time of day.
