University Of Vermont Offering Hemp Training For Technical Service Providers
The University of Vermont will be hosting a free virtual Hemp Training program starting in November. The registration deadline is Oct. 26, 2020.
Each webinar will be worth one CEU for certified crop advisors. Topics include integrated pest management, organic production, resinous (CBD) hemp production, grain hemp production, fiber hemp production, and processing. Webinars start every Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 3 and continue through February 2021. The schedule for the webinars and online registration can be found online.
The University of Vermont is offering a free course in collaboration with the following: Vermont Agency of Agriculture (VAAFM), Food & Markets, Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR), SUNY Morrisville, University of Maine Cooperative Extension, Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners (MOFGA), Northeast Organic Farming Association of NY (NOFA-NY), and Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education program (NE-SARE).
