Angelonia

Big Violet and Big Dark Pink are fast growing and feature fantastic branching like the original Alonia series, but they boast larger flowers. They are heat tolerant and exhibit excellent performance in the early spring and autumn.

Use one plant per 4-inch pot (ready in five to eight weeks), and one to two plants in 6-inch pots (ready in seven to 10 weeks).

Pinch once in trays, about 10 days before liner planting, or 10 days after planting and establishing.

Use a well-drained potting mix with a pH of 5.5 to 6.3 and EC between 0.6 and 0.9.

Maintain day temperature at 68 to 82° and night temperature at 62 to 65° F. Recommended light intensity is full sunlight to partial shade (minimum 6,000 foot-candles).

Apply constant feed with a balanced fertilizer (200- to 250-ppm nitrogen) that contains average levels of micronutrients. Keep moist, but not overwater, to prevent root damage.
