Calibrachoa

Noa varieties offer a great profusion of exquisite flowers from early spring until late fall. Plants are strongly branched and exhibit a compact trailing growth habit. They work well in baskets, pots, mixed containers and window boxes placed outdoors in sunny areas.

Plants root in three to four weeks at temperatures of 65-75° F. Use a well-drained potting mix with a pH of 5.5-6.0 and EC between 0.6 and 0.9.

First pinch should be done about four weeks after rooting while plants are still in tray. Additional pinching is needed only if growth overstretches or if flowering starts too early. Avoid late pinching as it delays flowering and marketing.

Apply constant feed with a balanced fertilizer at nitrogen levels of 250-300 ppm and average levels of micronutrients with slightly higher levels of iron to keep foliage green. Keep plants moist, but not overwatered, to prevent root damage. Plants are best maintained on the dry side, but avoid drying out as it will cause a non-uniform crop and leaf yellowing.
