UF to Offer Online Costing, Profitability Course
The course is designed for experienced growers or technical managers in the United States and other countries. The course is offered in English and Spanish.
Participants will develop the skills to accurately estimate production cost and profit for their business.
Course topics include:
- Crop enterprise budgets
- Prepare your income statement data
- Interpret income statement
- Allocate overhead
- Seasonality, space use, and shrinkage
- Labor cost and efficiency
- Price and profitability
- Return on investment in technologies
This course has 5 instructors from two universities and the greenhouse industry.
