Voices Needed At Congressional Action DaysSource: SAF

Changes are taking place in Washington, and the green industry may be affected by decisions made in the 110th Congress. Green industry members can let their legislators know what is important to them by participating in SAF’s Congressional Action Days, March 12-13, 2007, in Washington, D.C. People from all segments of the green industry – growers, retailers and wholesalers – are invited to come to Washington to share their concerns with legislators.

Members will meet to get all the information they need and plan their talking points and then head to Capitol Hill to share their concerns with Congress. Expect an informative line-up of speakers and networking opportunities.

By participating in SAF Congressional Days, industry members can learn about the issues, practice telling their story, collect SAF handouts and partner with an experienced lobbyist.
