A self-employed business owner since he was 18, he acquired Advancing Alternatives in 2014 and expanded product offerings from traditional greenhouse components to the company’s line of environmental controls and ventilation solutions.
The company’s motto, “Innovate. Grow. Advance,” represents his personal philosophy. Uses his business acumen and creativity to develop products that are cost-effective, intuitive and reliable, and solve customers’ challenges.

Extracurricular

When he’s not working, Dave has his private pilot’s license and enjoys flying. He also likes to bow hunt.

Fun Facts

History is Dave’s favorite subject. “Studying history allows us to create a better world, and hopefully, we can learn from our predecessors to eliminate the possibility of making the same mistakes that were made in the past.”
