Gloeckner Foundation Grant Proposals Due April 1

The Fred C. Gloeckner Foundation recently set the deadline for grant proposals in 2022.

Research and educational projects in floriculture and related fields of plant pathology, plant breeding, agricultural economics, agricultural engineering, entomology, and plant physiology related to floriculture, at universities, colleges, and federal research institutions in the U.S. will be considered, according to a news release from the foundation. The end of the day, April 1, 2022, is the deadline for submission of the grant proposals.

Proposals should be submitted electronically as a pdf document to Jsimone@ednieflowerbulb.com, with hammer@purdue.edu cc’d on the email. A fillable pdf application form is available online.

Grant proposals approved by the Board at the Annual Meeting of the Fred C. Gloeckner Foundation Inc. in early June and are paid in August. Since 1961, the foundation has distributed over $7.3 million to institutions nationwide.
