ANLA Announces Bayer Scholarship ProgramSource: ANLA

The American Nursery & Landscape Association and Bayer Advanced are partnering to deliver the Bayer Advanced Scholars program for the 2010 Management Clinic. The program, now in its second year, will award scholarships to 25 independent garden center owners or managers. Applicants will be judged on both merit and need, with at least 50 percent distributed to companies who experienced a decline in their overall or plant-care category sales in 2009.

The 38th annual ANLA Management Clinic will be held Jan. 31 to Feb. 3 in Louisville, Ky. Recipients of the Bayer scholarships will be selected from applications received through ANLA.org and ManagementClinic.org and from applications submitted directly to Bayer representatives. Applications must be submitted no later than Dec. 1 and are limited to one per company. For more information and to download an application, visit the Management Clinic website and visit the sponsors page.
