B&H Flowers Receives Green Award

In recognition of its environmentally conscious growing practices, B&H Flowers, Inc., a fifth-generation family operation located in Carpinteria, Calif., was awarded Santa Barbara County’s Green Award.

The award honors innovative organizations that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to protecting and repairing the environment. Only five awards are presented each year.

B&H Flowers has also received a Congressional merit of recognition, as well as state and local recognition, as a result of this achievement. The company stated in a press release that it would continue to focus on producing the best-quality flowers under the best environmental growing practices.
