McGregor, Florexpo And Westhoff Sign License Agreement

Westhoff and McGregor Plant Sales Inc. recently signed a licensing agreement on genetics to be produced by Florexpo. This agreement opens additional sales and production channels for Westhoff genetics in the United States and Canada for the 2007 season.

The new agreement includes 14 varieties of annuals. Growers will be able to source genetics in URC form direct from McGregor Plant Sales and have them shipped direct from Florexpo in Costa Rica.

Myers Industries To Acquire ITML Horticultural Products

Last week, Myers Industries Inc. announced it had reached an agreement to acquire ITML Horticultural Products Inc. The acquisition is expected to close in early 2007 and is subject to customary conditions of closing. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Dosatron Names CEO

Dosatron International Inc. has named Michael Palandro as the company’s chief executive officer. Palandro brings to the company years of leadership experience in a variety of business disciplines in both domestic and overseas operating environments.
