Arvesta Announces Registration Of Celero Insecticide
“”Arvesta is becoming a widely recognized name in the agriculture market,”” said Elin Miller, president and CEO of Arvesta. “”We are excited about this registration because it allows us entry into the ornamental market with one of the best products.””
Celero, also known as clothianidan, works through contact and ingestion to stop damaging pests immediately. It also works systemically, providing season-long, residual control of aphids, whiteflies and mealy bugs. “”We’re very excited to offer this new chemistry to the ornamental market,”” said Bill Liles, turf and ornamental business manager for Arvesta. “”Celero provides growers another tool for controlling multiple pests.”” Celero insecticide also offers a favorable toxicological profile, making it a new product for a possible insect management program. Celero is available as a 16 percent water-soluble granule and features a restricted entry interval (REI) of 12 hours.
“”There are many good products on the market,”” said Tom Kroll, fungicide and insecticide product manager for Arvesta. “”The data indicates that the unique chemistry in Celero will be among the best in providing the user consistency in aphid, whitefly and mealy bug control.”” For more information on Celero visit www.arvesta.com.
