Atticus recognizes 2023 ARA Rising Stars winner

The Agricultural Retailers Association Rising Stars program initiative allows ARA member companies to nominate emerging leaders, providing them with a platform for recognition and a means to further develop their leadership skills.

The theme of this year’s Rising Stars award program was “Next-Level Leadership: Always Navigating Forward,” and as a sponsor of the ARA Rising Stars program, Atticus was honored to recognize Scott Birth, logistics coordinator with Rocky Mountain Agronomics, as the 2023 grand prize winner.

Scott is a graduate of Utah Tech University with an education in business administration and management. Raised on a family farm, Scott understood the importance of agriculture and hard work from a young age. “Next-level leadership to me means to think big,” said Scott. He exemplifies this by establishing high-level goals for himself and his team. “These goals have a great impact on propelling the company forward. They provide my team with a guiding light, unity, and a clear vision. Once these goals are executed, the passion for progress becomes infectious.” Scott also believes in establishing relationships with his team and breaking down barriers with empathy. He states, “A next-level leader understands that culture is what defines a team and a company.”
