Bayer Offers Fall Sales Programs

The Turf & Ornamental (T&O) business of Bayer, within the company’s Crop Science division, has launched its 2019 fall sales programs for Broadform, Marengo and  Marengo G. Through the programs, growers can save on their purchases of these products during the months of August and September.

“With both of these programs, purchasing larger quantities results in greater savings, so we encourage growers to consider taking advantage of this great offer during August and September to secure the optimal pricing,” said John Wendorf, Customer Marketing Manager, Lawn and Ornamentals.

Under the Broadform program, growers who purchase four bottles of Broadform during August and September will receive an additional bottle at no charge.

Broadform provides outstanding Botrytis control, excellent resistance management, and up to 30 days of disease control.

To claim a free bottle, growers will need to fill out a short redemption form and submit a copy of the invoice for their four or more purchased bottles of Broadform. Bayer will then send the free bottle directly to the grower. This program has no purchase limits.

The Marengo Fall Program allows growers to save up to 8% on their purchases of Marengo.

Because of its superior length of control, Marengo is one of the most economical options for weed management based on cost per month per acre of control, offering up to eight months of selective, preemergence weed control. As a result, Marengo products contribute to savings of time, labor and overall investment in a grower’s operation.

To help growers calculate the overall cost of their herbicide program, Bayer recently launched the Marengo Cost-in-Use Calculator, an online tool that allows growers a convenient way to input factors such as product cost and length of control to see an apples-to-apples comparison of the cost of different herbicide programs.

Additionally, recent label expansions for both Marengo and Marengo G provide even more utility to growers. The new label includes: control or suppression of 98 weeds, which is an increase from the previous 85 weeds; an additional 175 tolerant plant species, including palms; and over-the-top applications. The updated label for Marengo G includes control or suppression of 98 weeds, up from the previous 84 weeds, and an additional 148 tolerant plant species.
