Berger celebrates Co-CEOs’ nomination in Women’s Enterprise ranking

Berger, a third-generation family business, proudly announces the inclusion of its Co-CEOs, Melissa and Valerie Berger, to the prestigious Women’s Enterprise ranking (Palmares des entreprises au féminin). This nomination places Berger, for the fourth year in a row, among Quebec’s top-ranking companies led by women.

The Women’s Enterprise ranking, a flagship initiative in the business world, serves as a beacon for economic empowerment and celebrates the remarkable contributions of women in shaping the economic landscape. Being recognized for the 4th time in the Large Companies category underscores the significant achievements and leadership exhibited by Berger co-CEOs Melissa and Valerie Berger. The leaders of the family-owned business can therefore be proud to have preserved and shared the values instilled by their visionary grandmother, who founded the company in 1963.

The Women’s Enterprise ranking represent a nexus of influential women who are driving the economy forward, paving the way, and serving as role models for women aspiring to become entrepreneurs. Melissa and Valerie express, “We are honored to be part of this awards program and hope that this opportunity will help recognize the important contribution of women in the greater horticultural industry.”

The company looks forward to further strengthening its position as a leader in the horticultural industry and continuing to inspire future generations of women leaders. “As we enter 2024 with an ever increasing ambition to create lasting and authentic relationships, we hope that this nomination will spark a joint movement towards greater equity, commercial vitality, improved workplace well-being, and renewed vitality in our communities,” say Melissa and Valerie Berger.
