BioAg Group Enters Hemp Farming Agreement
BioAg Group, Inc. as managing partner of Hemp Pharma 2020, LLC has entered a turnkey farming agreement to participate directly in the hemp growing industry and manufacturing of high-quality medical grade CBD. BioAg’s farming partner, Harvest Farm Group, is an experienced organic vegetable grower and distributor in the Bakersfield, California area.
In 2019 Hemp Pharma grew two successful hemp crops and invested heavily in state of the art processing equipment to create a new vertical supply chain for the production of hemp and proprietary extraction of medical grade CBD.
For 2020, its partnership with BioAg Group will allow them to plant, harvest and process three 160 acre hemp crops, the first of which is scheduled for harvest beginning May 30th with its second and third crops due in August and December.
“We believe that the hemp market is not only sustainable, but that it will continue to grow for years to come,” said Joseph Hooper, CEO of BioAg. “We have secured our position in our farming partner’s current growth inventory and expect to continue to participate in up to three growth/harvest cycles per year going forward depending on weather and growth conditions. Profits from these harvests will flow directly to the Hemp Pharma 2020 partners at the point of sale and distribution of its high-quality medical-grade CBD.”
