BioWorks Adds New Controller

Kevin Baker has been named controller at BioWorks.
In his new position, Baker will be responsible for managing all accounting operations including financial reporting, budgeting, and cash and risk management. He will also act as a catalyst for BioWorks’ commitment to open book management.

Baker’s primary responsibility at BioWorks will be to manage the growth and financial health of BioWorks’ as the company launches new products and services into the horticulture, specialty agriculture and turf markets.
Baker has more than 30 years of financial and management experience most recently as president of Monks’ Bread, where he served as CFO for eight years prior. Earlier in his career, he held various positions with ADESA, ABC, and an independent auto auctions.
Baker is also an adjunct assistant professor of business and Houghton College, and is on the board of directors of two organizations.
