BioWorks’ Organic Biological Plant Nutrient Now Available in Canada
BioWorks has added its On-Gard Calcium, an organic biological plant nutrient, to the company’s Canadian product line.
The new product (1-0-0 + 5% calcium) is a unique liquid calcium formulated with plant derived soy protein hydrolysate and calcium chloride for the treatment and prevention of calcium deficiency in all crops. Soy protein hydrolysate increases uptake efficiency of calcium by plants, according to independent research conducted by John Helm at Western Ag. Research.
On-Gard can be used in ornamental and vegetable production on both organic and conventional crops. Use of the product reduces crop loss associated with calcium deficiency, improving the yield and quality of fruits and vegetables. It produces less mineral deposits than other calcium fertilizers and its higher dilution decreases risk of phytotoxicity injury.
On-Gard is compatible with most fertilizers, chemicals and biological products and is an excellent tank-mix partner with a wide range of products. The product is available in 9.46, 19 and 113 Liter sizes.
