Allison Justice, PhD
Owner of The Hemp Mine
Justice graduated from Clemson University with a Ph.D. in Plant and Environmental Science. Through research and education, Justice is elevating the standards of cannabis and hemp cultivation both indoors/greenhouse and in the field.
She’s played an integral part of the California Industrial Hemp Advisory Board and South Carolina Farm Bureau, advising policy and regulation. Justice previously serving as vice president of cultivation for OutCo, a vertically integrated cannabis producer in San Diego.
Erica Hernandez
Technical Specialist at Griffin
Hernandez received her Bachelor’s of Science in Plant Science from the University of Arizona in Tucson and MS in Horticultural Biology from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
For the past couple of years, she has been working with growers across the U.S. troubleshooting issues, designing fertilizer programming, implementing pest control strategies, and keeping up with current academic research for the past couple of years.
She works to bring proven horticultural techniques to growers and increase production efficiencies.
Max Salinger
Senior Director of Cultivation at Cresco Labs
Salinger has over a decade of cultivation experience and a passion for controlled environmental systems, hydroponics and plant disease management. A graduate of The Ohio State University, he grew up in the ornamental greenhouse industry but in school gravitated towards food production.
He transitioned to cannabis production in 2016, working in the recreational cannabis market in Washington state. His overarching mission is to bring cannabis production to a commercially viable state utilizing traditional commercial agricultural methodology and technology.
