CEA Summit East 2024 showcased growth, opportunity
The third annual Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) Summit East took place Oct. 1-2, 2024, at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR). The event, co-hosted by Indoor Ag-Con and the CEA Innovation Center, drew nearly 250 attendees from 35 states and several countries.

The two-day summit featured keynote speeches, panels, and breakout sessions exploring the latest advancements in CEA technology. Attendees also had the chance to engage with 21 exhibitors and participate in networking sessions.

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin kicked off the summit with a keynote address. Other notable sessions included a discussion on emerging trends and innovations in the field, featuring experts from Priva, Vegg, and Rooted Robotics.
The event wrapped up with tours of the CEA Innovation Center’s facilities, showcasing hydroponic systems and ongoing research projects. The next CEA Summit East will be held Sept. 9-10, 2025.
