CFGA Organizes Scholarship Family Fundraiser
The Cincinnati Flower Growers Association (CFGA) will hold its first annual SummerPalooza on July 29, at Stricker’s Grove amusement park in Hamilton, Ohio.
The Cincinnati flower grower’s Association is an association of growers, retailers, suppliers and educators, dedicated to the promotion of flowers and the well being of those around us.
Proceeds from the event go to the CFGA educational scholarship fund. Each year, the CFGA presents two $1,000 scholarships to selected applicants studying horticulture at local universities. The scholarships will be announced in September at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden
The SummerPalooza fundraising event was created to complement the CFGA Golf Outing Fundraiser, and is geared more for employees with their families and friends.
The event is being organized by a volunteer group made up of members of the CFGA, Cincinnati Parks, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, Cincinnati State University and the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
