Emerald Coast Growers will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2026, marking growth from a small operation to a large supplier of starter plants across North America.

Founded in 1991 in Pensacola, Florida, the company began with ornamental grass liners and has expanded into perennials and succulents.
Today, Emerald Coast operates three locations in Florida and Pennsylvania, with 570,000 square feet of controlled greenhouse space and 85 acres of farmland.
The company supplies ornamental grass liners and other starter material to growers and plant brokers, supporting greenhouse production across multiple crop categories.
“We are incredibly grateful to our dedicated employees, whose hard work and commitment have been vital to our journey,” said president Paul Babikow.
The company remains family-operated, with leadership continuing under members of the Babikow family and partners.
