Envu welcomes staff changes

Envu has named Peter Farno as the head of  U.S. ornamentals business and Edgar Tuna as its western area sales manager.

Envu has named Peter Farno head of the U.S. Ornamentals business. Known for his strategic thinking and customer-centric approach, Farno has more than 25 years of experience with Envu and Bayer Environmental Science. He previously served as U.S. ornamental business manager for Bayer Environmental Science.

Most recently, Farno was the customer engagement lead for Envu where he fostered commercial excellence and directed customer engagement activities for North America and Latin America.

“Peter is well known in this industry for his collaborative spirit and focus on innovation,” said John Price, head of Turf & Ornamentals U.S. at Envu. “Throughout his career, he has prioritized the ever-evolving needs of nursery and greenhouse growers. Under his leadership, Envu will continue innovating in this space, helping the industry advance and customers achieve success.”

Farno has a long track record of successful achievements. He has excelled in positions across customer engagement, marketing and more. He earned his degree from New Hampshire College and now resides in North Carolina with his wife and son.

Envu is also welcoming Edgar Tuna to the U.S. Ornamentals business as an area sales manager for the West. Tuna has more than 20 years of experience as a grower in various key role and recently, he was a territory manager for Nutrien Ag Solutions.

Tuna earned his master’s degree in Irrigation Studies from Utah State University and his bachelor’s degree as an Agronomic Engineer from the University of San Carlos in Guatemala. He has also held board-level positions with the California Association Pest Control Advisers. He will be based in Southern California.

“We at Envu look forward to seeing Edgar help nursery and greenhouse growers cultivate healthy, thriving and pest-free crops,” said Price. “His extensive expertise will be valuable to our grower partners.”
